In our worship this Lent we recognize and reflect upon God’s purposes as we stand at the foot of the cross. In Week 4 we remember that the promise, the message, the word of the cross, is all-powerful, and that power is made perfect in weakness.
“For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.” 1 Corinthians 1:18
